E92 M3 Tracktool

Our company's showpiece. We develop and test our parts on this beautiful Alpine White E92 M3, including on the Nordschleife!

The base

We started with a standard M3 from Japan.

The vehicle was in excellent condition and, as is typical for Japanese cars, had a rust-free underbody.

Seats

First, we had to install different seats. The originals offered too little lateral support and were far too heavy. We fitted Sabelt GT3 bucket seats with Schroth harnesses. These, including the mounting brackets, saved approximately 30 kg. The rear bench seat also had to be removed, saving another 30 kg.

Steering wheel spacer

Because the steering wheel was much too far away due to the bucket seats, we installed a steering wheel spacer. This brought the steering wheel considerably closer to the driver.

chassis

A proper suspension system is of course also a must.

A KW V3 Racing / Competition 2-way suspension kit would meet our requirements.
